Commen Questions and Answers:
────────────────────────────-
Question: The SVGA.EXE program does not work on my computer. How can
I view the (GIF/JPG/TGA) images?
Answer : Look in the \UTILITY directory. There are several shareware
image viewing programs for DOS, Windows 3.x and even OS/2.
See the file \HELP\UTILITY.TXT for more information.
Question: The MENU.BAT program does not work on my computer. What
should I do?
Answer : First, if you are accessing the program from DOS, you should
try using the alternate menu program MENUDOS.BAT. The MENUDOS
program doesn't search for your CD ROM drive like the MENU
program. MENUDOS will not use the DOS SET command and may
correct the problem. Secondly, you can manually execute the
SVGA.EXE program. Change to the \SVGA directory and type
"SVGA"<enter>. Refer to the file \SVGA\SVGA.MAN for more
information on the SVGA.EXE program.
Question: How do I add the Hot Bodies CD ROM disc to my BBS?
Answer : BBS software packages have unique requirements for using CD ROMs,
so you'll need to consult your BBS's documentation for specific
instructions. 2 versions of FILES.BBS description files can be
found in each directory. Additional file listings can be found
in the \INFO directory.
Question: My CD ROM player won't access the disc. Is the disc defective?
Answer : It might be. Check to see if your CD ROM player will read other
discs. Check the surface of the disc for scratches or debris.
Check the CD caddy, if you're using one. Check the disc on other
CD ROM players.
Question: How do I reach technical support?
Answer : There are two ways: standard telephone support and electronic
mail (we prefer CIS e-mail and it is the fastest way to get a
response to your inquiry).
Telephone support : 404-732-1744, M-F, 9am-5pm EST.
CompuServ E-Mail support : Kevin Wakefield CIS:74217,406
Note: You may also send e-mail from Internet to Compuserv.
